Epic is now live at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights and Portneuf Medical Center! The first few days have been smooth so far with no significant issues. ATE (at-the-elbow) support has exceeded expectations with troubleshooting issues and providing a great sense of relief for end users. We are beyond grateful for their assistance. Thank you to everyone for remaining in good spirits during such a big transition. We look forward to seeing how Epic improves patient care across our facilities.
Amy Lemuel, RN at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights, is excited about going live with Epic THIS WEEK! "Epic is going to break Seton Medical Center Harker Heights into our own stratosphere! The software will streamline communication throughout the organization and allow more time for the nursing staff to provide greater care for our ever-increasing patient population. I wish we could have gone live already!
Epic goes live at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights on July 12, 2019. Employee Kimberly Abdur-Raheem shared her excitement about Epic from previous experience with the platform: "Given my previous experiences with Epic as a nurse, I love that Epic is user friendly. It offers so many ways to get the job done. Its workflows grant all departments, including the Emergency Room and Operating Room, access to patient information. This ultimately provides continuity of patient care throughout the patient's hospital stay.
Epic went live for the first time at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center and Hackensack Meridian Health at Pascack Valley Medical Center on Friday, 3/29, and Ardent's instance of Epic went live at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus on Friday, 3/29, as well. Employees are excited and working hard to make this transition run smoothly.
Keep up the excellent work, everyone! Thank you for being a part of our Epic story.
