Caregivers and staff at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights have been on Epic since July, and we are pleased to hear how end-users have adapted to the new health record.
Stacy Sepeda, Clinical Programs Manager at Seton, praised Epic for the single, streamlined approach to care versus the two separate systems they had before: “We can now all see each other’s documentation for continuity of care, and the improved communication leads to better outcomes for our patients.”
Epic, Stacy said, is user-friendly once you learn the new system. “Overall, everybody’s happy with Epic. It’s so much better than our previous EHR, and it’s great that providers can order things through their phones instead of going back and forth to a computer.”
We love hearing how Epic continues to be the best choice for quality patient care and improved workflows for our staff and providers.
